Regulatory Requirements for Cosmetics vs Over the Counter Products

Join our live webinar to hear from our experts about the key differences between cosmetic and OTC regulations.

It is important to understand the differences between cosmetic and over the counter (OTC) regulations with regards to certification requirements for your products. The world is forever changing, and this is true with regards to the ISO 22716:2007 certification for manufacturers that make both cosmetic and OTC products.

ISO 22716:2007 clearly states in the introduction that the guideline applies to cosmetic products. The regulatory bodies do not include OTC products in the definition of cosmetic products. This drives the OTC products into a different category.

This webinar will review the differences between cosmetic and OTC products along with the regulatory requirements for the two product types, explain the change to remove OTC products from the ISO 22716 scope statements, and review the options available to cover the OTC products.

Our experts will help to review the options available to support both the cosmetic and OTC products.
