Devised by the Sustainable Agriculture Initiative (SAI), the Farm Sustainability Assessment (FSA) program is used for self-assessment and third-party verification. It demonstrates sustainability in farming and is based on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP).

The FSA program is customizable and can be used for all agricultural crops cultivated across the globe. It supports companies operating along the full length of food and drink supply chains, enabling them to work towards sustainability in production. Subject to their assessment outcome, they are able to claim, partly or entirely, their products to be SAI Bronze, SAI Silver or SAI Gold.
