Fire Protection Officer Module 1 Training Course

It is a requirement according to occupational health and safety, construction law and insurers that companies appoint a Fire Safety Officer to help reduce risks and to be prepared in the event of an incident.

Our four-day training course is aligned to DGUV Information 205-003 and the vfdb-directive 12-09/01 so that you meet the necessary requirements.

Course Content

This training course will enable you to understand:

  • The legal basics
  • Fire safety regulations
  • Potential fire and explosion hazards
  • Structural fire protection
  • Plant fire protection
  • Fire-fighting equipment and how to use it, with the opportunity to carry out a practical exercise

You will need to demonstrate acceptable performance in these areas to complete the course successfully.

Course Certification

Delegates who attend the full duration of the course will be issued with a “Certificate of Attendance”.

Prior Knowledge

A prerequisite for obtaining the certificate is 64 course units for fire safety officers. Module 1 and Module 2 must therefore be completed. We recommend delegates attend our ‘Operational Fire Protection Officer Module 2’ and ‘Fire Protection Officer Training’.
