We are proud to announce that our Mexico laboratory has been recognized by Honda for the testing of volatile organic compounds (VOC) on vehicle interior components, becoming the first facility offering this recognized service in the country.
Testing is now available that meets Honda’s 0094Z-T7S-0001 – VOC Test Method Specification for Interior Parts, as well as the ISO 12219-2 international standard, a screening method for determining VOC emissions. Within this scope, VOCs are measured by direct cartridge, and formaldehyde, acetaldehyde and acrolein with a ten-liter Tedlar bag extraction method.
This recognition underlines the success of team in Mexico as leaders in VOC testing in the country, as well as their position as a top strategic partner for the automotive industry. It also marks their commitment to rigorous technical evaluation, methodological alignment and analytical excellence under the highest manufacturing standards.
Our team’s experience in Japanese original equipment manufacturing (OEM) testing methods has been supported by their participation in inter-laboratory testing in Guangzhou. This collaboration has helped guarantee the reliability, repeatability and transparency of results.
