BRC Global Standards – Internal Auditor Training

This training provides the skills and knowledge for you to audit to the requirements of the Global Standards and plan, implement and follow up internal audits.

You learn to assess the design, implementation and improvement to the requirements of the BRC. The requirements set out guidelines for the production and supply of safe and legal consumer products of consistent quality. These products may be retailer-branded (private label), branded or unbranded products.

On training completion you will:

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of the purpose and the requirements of the BRC Global Standards and the audit and certification process
  • Have the skills and knowledge needed to conduct internal party audits

The training is for Quality and Technical Managers, personnel responsible for managing an internal auditing schedule and for those in charge of undertaking internal audits as required by BRC Standards.

The training is delivered through a mixture of workshop led discussions, practical activities and presentations. Delegates are required to undertake a live audit (case study based) where they need to apply the skills and techniques they acquired during the training. Delegates will be given feedback on how they performed during the case study and how they can improve on their auditing techniques.
