As part of continuous professional development, several members of the SGS Natural Resources - Minerals team in Pakistan have successfully completed the training program on Cargo Container Inspection by Lloyds Maritime Institute.

Conducting a container loading inspection reduces the risk of encountering unexpected issues upon arrival. This inspection enables clients to assess the condition of their goods before shipment, identify any potential problems, and promptly address them. In case any discrepancies are discovered, SGS personnel is available to determine the appropriate course of action.

The Cargo Container Inspection course has helped our colleagues to enhance their competency level and understanding of the responsibilities of a marine cargo surveyor, as well as the intricacies of surveys, inspections, claims and investigations related to cargoes and damages. This knowledge will enable them to effectively carry out their roles as marine cargo surveyors.
Training programs like these offer significant benefits for the development of our entire team. We therefore strongly advocate regular participation in such training programs for our team members.
