To enhance food safety management knowledge and skills of their employees, Binzagr CO-RO applied for a training by SGS focusing on ISO 22000:2018.
The training took place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in the company’s premises.

Binzagr CO-RO started its operations in 1976 and has been specialized in fruit-based drinks. It produces Suntop, Suncola and Sunquick distributed nationwide in Saudi Arabia. The company also serves as an exporting hub to GCC and African countries.
The cooperation between SGS and Binzagr CO-RO began 27 years ago, back in 1996, when Binzagr CO-RO became one of the first food companies in Saudi Arabia to be certified for ISO 9001.
Since then, the company has been constantly evolving in terms of managerial excellence. By today, they have established a management system integrating quality, food safety and occupational health & safety aspects. This management system has been certified by SGS for ISO 9001, HACCP, ISO 22000 and ISO 45001.
Such a significant progress would not have been possible without proper professional training of staff. Binzagr CO-RO has been investing in their people’s skills on a consistent basis.
In March 2023, SGS Academy delivered an ISO 22000:2018 Internal Auditor Course for Binzagr CO-RO’s employees in Jeddah.
During our courses our trainees are always involved in role plays and practical exercises. This was also the case for the ISO 22000 course for Binzagr CO-RO. I acknowledge that participants were highly engaged, which made the training quite productive.
