SGS is pleased to announce the acquisition of Metair Lab, a health and hygiene testing laboratory in France.
Metair Lab provides air sampling and asbestos testing services in France and is COFRAC (the French accreditation committee) accredited for both asbestos and air quality assessment. The company has also developed an indoor air quality solution.
Created in 2013, Metair Lab has two locations in South Eastern France (Lyon and Chambéry) and becomes part of our French health & hygiene testing laboratory network currently covering Western and Northern France. The company employs 20 people and generated sales of EUR 2.3 million in 2020.
