Prior Knowledge Requirements

Before starting this course, it is recommended that learners have prior knowledge of:

• The concepts of food safety management including HACCP, hazard analysis, hazard and risk assessment and management etc. and the relationship between food safety management, customer food safety satisfaction and customer food safety requirements.
• Commonly used terms and definitions as provided in FSSC 22000 and/or ISO 22000 Food Safety management systems guidance. 

Objectives

What will you learn on our FSSC 22000 internal auditor course?

Upon completion of this Course, delegates will be able to:

• Explain the structure of FSSC 22000 and the role of internal audit in the maintenance and improvement of food safety standards;
• Explain the PRPs and Additional Requirements of FSSC 22000;
• With reference to the Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle, explain the process-based FSMS model for ISO 22000, and the role of internal audit in the maintenance and improvement of FSMS;
• Plan, conduct, report and follow up an internal audit as part of a FSMS based on FSSC 22000 and/or ISO 22000 and in accordance with ISO 19011.
