We are pleased to announce the appointment of Suat Kaya as the new Managing Director of SGS Azerbaijan.
Suat brings nearly two decades of experience within SGS. He began his journey with SGS in 2006 in Istanbul as a Petroleum and Chemical Inspector. Demonstrating strong technical expertise and leadership potential, he quickly advanced to the role of a Team Leader, and over the years, progressed through several operational and business leadership roles within the Oil, Gas & Chemicals (OGC) business. Later, he expanded his responsibilities over Industries & Environment division, overseeing a broad portfolio of services and driving strategic growth across key sectors.
Throughout his career, Suat has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to operational excellence, customer satisfaction and sustainable business development. His in-depth industry knowledge and hands-on leadership approach have contributed significantly to the success of the teams he has led.
Suat holds an Associate Degree from Istanbul Technical University and a Bachelor’s degree in Labour Economics from Anadolu University.
