Aging Facility: Risk Based Inspection Approach for Civil Structure Assessment

We’re pleased to announce our Live Complimentary webinar “Aging Facility – Risk Based Inspection Approach for Civil Structure Assessment”. This webinar will be useful for sectors such as Infrastructure, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Manufacturing and Real Estate.

Why this topic?

It is often assumed that civil structures have a long functional life. It is true if they are designed and constructed adequately with respect to standard engineering and construction practices. Still, proper inspections are required to prevent unsafe situations.

Degradation of civil structures can lead not only to higher costs of repair and maintenance, but also, more importantly, to catastrophic incidents. These incidents can range from fragments to entire structures collapsing due to corrosion or structural deterioration.

Risk-based inspections (RBI) help stakeholders understand the criticality of their civil structures and helps them to prioritize and focus on essential issues. RBI provide the insights into degradation mechanisms and predict how and when civil structures could fail. The RBI study clearly shows which assets need maintenance and which ones don’t.

Agenda of the webinar
