It is commonly observed that insects become more resistant to pesticides when they are not applied as part of an IPM strategy. Further concerns include insect resistance to genetically modified crops with imbedded insecticidal effects such as Bt protein. The best strategy for effectively combatting insecticide resistance is prevention of it occurring in the first place.

Our monitoring and testing solutions support insect resistance investigations as part of a larger IPM strategy. By collecting insect populations in the field, we can assess pest density and communities of non-harmful arthropods, hatching and breeding the most relevant species for bioassay testing against pesticides and GM crops under laboratory conditions.

We provide comprehensive reports to assist with IRM, as well as GM crop related safety assessments on the impact of non-target arthropods.
