To strengthen consumer safety standards within the trade and manufacturing sectors, the consumer protection delegation from the UAE Ministry of Economy (MoE) recently embarked on a pivotal visit to the SGS multi-lab facility in Dubai.
Led by His Excellency, Abdulla Al Saleh, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy, the visit aimed to explore the testing capabilities of the laboratory.
During the delegation's visit, particular emphasis was placed on showcasing the cutting-edge analytical capabilities housed within the multi-lab. The tour provided insight into the advanced methodologies employed for testing various consumer products, demonstrating the lab's ability to accurately assess product safety and compliance.
Moreover, the delegation was briefed on the ongoing research and development initiatives aimed at further enhancing the lab's facilities and staying abreast of emerging industry trends.
