Seven experts from SGS Pakistan have been recently certified as greenhouse gases lead auditors for GHG Protocol and ISO 14064-1. This will allow SGS to better satisfy the increasing demand for climate change services.
Climate change is the most important challenge of the 21st century because it requires approaching economic growth in a new way. Companies are under increasing pressure to take measures to combat global warming over and above their basic legal obligations.
It hence becomes critical for organizations to determine their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
As the world leader for testing, inspection and certification, SGS is the first choice for companies looking to manage their GHG emissions.
SGS Pakistan has been offering GHG estimation services since 2016. Realizing the rising need in competent and certified GHG auditors, the decision was taken to amplify the SGS Pakistan team of certified auditors.
Seven SGS experts have been recently certified as Greenhouse Gases Lead Auditors as per GHG Protocol & ISO 14064-1.

As a result, today SGS has one of the largest local auditing teams in Pakistan certified against ISO 14064-1.
ISO 14064-1:2018 specifies principles and requirements at the organization level for the quantification and reporting of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and removals.
It includes requirements for the design, development, management, reporting and verification of an organization's GHG inventory.
We see an increasing demand for GHG expertise in Pakistan. The ISO 14064-1 certification enables us to better meet our customers’ needs.
