The UAE Supreme Council for Family Affairs has obtained the ISO 9001: 2015 certificate from SGS, thus demonstrating a significant achievement in the field of quality management and institutional excellence.
Mr. Rajan PTM, Director of Arabian Peninsula, SGS Knowledge Solutions, presented the ISO 9001:2015 certificate to Her Excellency Dr. Khawla Abdulrahman Al Mulla, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs (SCFA), at the Council's headquarters in Sharjah.
The event was attended by the key members of the General Secretariat of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs.
The Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah is a government agency in the United Arab Emirates (Sharjah Emirate) that recognizes the importance of building a cohesive and stable family that cherishes its identity and culture and the need to help the family shoulder its evolving roles and responsibilities, as well as to contribute to the implementation of community development plans. The Sharjah Supreme Council for Family Affairs was founded based on Emiri Decree No. (24) of 2000, and consists of departments operating in the field of social and cultural development, family protection, care and rehabilitation of its members.
The ISO 9001 standard is internationally recognized and sets out requirements for quality management systems. It confirms an organization's ability to consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements, enhance customer satisfaction, and continually improve its operations
By achieving this certification, the Supreme Council for Family Affairs has demonstrated their commitment to implementing effective quality management practices focused on delivering the highest level of service to their clients.
