Textile Laboratory SGS Offers Textile Testing and Inspection Services responsibly and with expertise. SGS operates in Finland and in more than 140 countries. Fashionable products no longer confirm success of commercial activity. Quality, functionality and safety requirements are equally important factors. SGS tests all textiles from yarn and fabric to clothes, house hold textiles and shoes. We use national and international standards, such as SFS, EN, ISO and ASTM D. We also perform tests using so called In-house –methods. These methods can be applied to product quality comparison, either within own product line or when comparing own product quality to that of the competitor. Textile testing services gives benefit to manufacturers of fabrics, knits and clothes as well as to importers.
