Korea Republic of - 11/17/03 SQF 1000 for Development of "Crop Management " Syngenta is a global manufacturer which has developed Crop Management programs already excellent fruits and vegetables. In order to further enhance their Crop Management program, Syngenta had decided to move one step ahead and to associate their program with international certification. Accordingly, their choice was to link their program with SQF1000 certification scheme and to use SGS as a Certification Body. The ultimate goal was to see farmers and cooperatives in Korea (accredited to SQF1000) able to improve the quality of their products and then able to use SQF1000 logo and reputation, to enhance their sales, locally and internationally. This common project SGS-Syngenta had started in December, 2001 with Syngenta people trained by SGS Korea and completed successfully. |
