Plant Risk Integrity Management (PRIMA) Several studies show that many plants spend far too much time and money on maintenance and inspection activities where the operational risks are quite low, as well as not having effective inspection technologies in place – like RBI - to identify where the operational risks are very high – resulting in excessive unplanned production downtime. Also a study showed that only up to 8% of the operating equipment units contribute to at least 92% of the plant operational risks.
