Mercury is just as toxic to the petroleum industry and poses a threat to the extraction, refining and delivery of oil and gas. High mercury concentrations can affect pipeline welds and other sensitive equipment and cause components to fail, plant shutdown and potentially catastrophic failure. Finding it and removing it from oil and gas delivers a higher quality product to the consumer, reduces the presence of mercury in our environment and increases safety in the petroleum industry. Our general consultancy and laboratory testing services cut across many of our core competencies to help identify and remove mercury from oil and gas supplies. |
