On Site Analysis

Through our FluidPro™ Mobile Laboratories, we offer onsite PVT studies, production chemistry, sampling services and high pressure / high temperature fluid transfer services.  Each unit is DNV certified for A60 / Zone 1 applications and built to operate in and withstand harsh environments. All units are staffed by certified chemists to assure the highest standards of quality and service.

The FluidPro™ Portable Analytical Laboratory (PAL) is a Pressure-Volume-Temperature (PVT) and production chemistry laboratory equipped with field sampling equipment and staffed by certified PVT chemists.  These portable laboratories can be operated on-platform for testing while drilling, at a centralized shore base or as stand-alone laboratories in remote locations.  The laboratories can also be configured for project-specific requirements.  Standard capabilities include:

SGS is committed to providing high quality data and excellent service at an exceptional price. The FluidPro™ mobile laboratories are a prime example. The equipment and instrumentation used in the SGS mobile laboratories are the equivalent of those found in most fixed laboratories.  In addition, the PVT chemists that operate the labs are third party certified and must pass a rigorous internal training program to become a FluidPro™ Operator. Finally, the mobile labs are monitored by a highly experienced QA/QC team with remote access via phone and internet and the commitment doesn’t stop here.

Our FluidPro™ mobile laboratories eliminate the usual turnaround times created by shipping HazMat samples and circumvent the lengthy backlogs commonly associated with fixed laboratories. Onsite testing also minimizes the costs associated with cylinder rental and transportation.  And, because the lab is dedicated to your project, it operates on your schedule – onsite and on demand.
