Improve Your Flotation Performance
The METcam-FC is a new robust online instrument that accurately measures froth characteristics. Designed by SGS Minerals Services, a leader in mineral process control automation, and a vision technology firm with over 2,000 installed cameras, the METcam-FC captures and analyzes real time video images of flotation froth. The METcam-FC, with included Vision client software, measures directional froth velocity, froth stability, bubble size distribution and 6 image color readings. The METcam-FC is the only system available with a wireless network option that greatly reduces the cost and time of installation.
Intelligently control your flotation circuit with the METcam-FC and the MET toolkit developed by SGS Minerals Services. Like having your best operator on shift . . . every shift, the MET can automate your plant’s best operating practices. The METcam-FC Module, available with the MET, provides optimizing algorithms for cell/bank/row control as well froth type characterization.
