Scope of the Mandate
- Quality, Quantity, Eligibility, Customs Value, Price List, Valuation Database Customs Classification of Imports
- Validation of External Trade Transactions; Existence of Supplier and Manufacturer; Documentary Verification
Description of the Services Provided by SGS: With the aim to provide the service for the export market price assessment, the NB for Foreign Economic Activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan has requested SGS to validate the value of certain transactions. As part of the validation SGS is to contact the exporter and/or supplier declared by the importer in Uzbekistan and to obtain the relevant documentation and information supporting the value of the realized transactions. The information and documentation received by SGS is for the sole use of the National Bank for foreign Economic Activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan. SGS’ validation is carried out on the basis of the objective and non-discriminatory procedures and criteria. Likewise, SGS is obliged to keep strictly confidential the information and documentation provided by the exporter and/or supplier, thus it is not authorized to share or divulgate, directly or indirectly, any information to third parties.
