Description of Actual Services Provided by the SGS Staff SGS will receive an importers application for verification (Verification Order). Will verify that the importer has the required import license issued by the Ministry of Trade. Will contact the seller to arrange a verification of the goods in the country of supply. Will select goods for verification using a sampling plan. Will verify and photograph the goods to ensure compliance with the conditions of the import licence. Will classify the goods according to the Indonesian Tariff. In the event of goods shipped by FCL, will seal the container. In the case of LCL will apply “sampled” labels to those packages sampled. Will issue a draft Surveyor’s Report 2 days after completing inspection. In the event that the sellers final commercial invoice is not available at that time, the draft Surveyor’s Report will be based on Proforma invoice to be updated in Jakarta when the final commercial invoice becomes available. Will forward the draft Surveyor’s Report to KSO Sucofindo-Surveyor Indonesia in Jakarta.
