In an unprecedented public gathering, SGS Egypt has celebrated the start up of its Pesticide Residues Analysis Laboratory in Cairo on June 22nd 2008 at its head offices in Harraneya. The event was organized by SGS Egypt under the auspices of Mr. Safwaat El Hadad – Deputy Minister of Agriculture to officially launch the soft opening of the new Pesticide Residues Analysis Laboratory which is actively serving both the Agriculture & Food industries. The event was attended by prominent figures from the Food Export Industry whether public or private, as well as many other interested parties in consumer protection and food safety. SGS is also please to announce the commercial inauguration of its state of the art pesticide residue monitoring laboratory on September 1st 2008.
