EuP Compliance

The conformity assessment procedures will be specified by the implementing measures. You will find the adoption date in the EuP timetable . We explain the methods of conformity and requirements of the EuP Directive in our training courses.

EuP compliance in brief
Manufacturers can choose to perform the conformity assessment either by ecological product profiles or within a management system like ISO 14001 or EMAS. Companies will be required to produce a document file for each of their products and should therefore start by collecting data on the mentioned environmental aspects in the different life cycle phases.

CE marking
The EuP Directive is part of the CE marking. This means that if products are labeled with the CE marking they  must  comply with EuP Directive. Manufacturers are required to keep the declaration of conformity ready for inspection.
