GB/T 32614-2016 Outdoor Sportswear—Water Resistant Garment was implemented on November 1, 2016. It is the first product standard for outdoor sportswear.

INSTRUCTION

China National standard GB/T 32614-2016 Outdoor SportswearWater Resistant Garment was implemented on November 1, 2016. This standard applies to water resistant garments which are mainly made of textile materials and does not apply to water resistant garments for infants aged 36 months or younger. It is the first standard for outdoor sportswear.

This standard specifies the garment size and type, requirements, test methods, judgment rules, instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage for water resistant garments.

QUALITY REQUIREMENTS

The requirements include two aspects: physical qualities and appearance qualities. The test items and requirements are shown in the table below.
