SGS is very pleased to announce that its commercial geochemical analytical laboratories in Ghana (Tarkwa), Burkina Faso (Ouagadougou) and Mali (Bamako) are officially recognized by the South African National Accreditation System (SANAS) for meeting the requirements of the ISO/IEC 17025 standard for specific registered tests for the minerals industry. Conformity to the ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation standard demonstrates technical competency for a defined scope of tests and the operation of an appropriate laboratory quality management system. This successful achievement is evidence of SGS’s continued commitment to deliver the highest quality data to its clients and to maintain its global leadership in the field of analytical geochemistry and laboratory quality systems design and implementation.
