SGS is pleased to announce the acquisition of Testing Services Group LLC (TSG), based in Lapeer, Michigan, USA. TSG is a leading provider of fuel systems testing for global customers in the automotive, small engine, marine, portable fuel container and US government markets. TSG features the largest installed base of mini- and micro-SHED systems for evaporative emissions measurements in North America and works closely with the US Environmental Protection Agency and the California Air Resources Board on the development of new test procedures in this area.
This addition complements recent ETC, ATE and CAS acquisitions and will substantially expand our testing services customer portfolio.
Founded in 1998 and privately owned, TSG employs 30 experts and generates revenues in excess of USD 5.5 million.
