Industrial Rope Access is a proven method of achieving a safe working position in hard-to-reach locations in the industrial sector, such as offshore wind farms, industrial plants and buildings. It provides a cost-effective alternative to traditional access methods, such as scaffolding or mobile elevated working platforms.

In the light of growing interest in this access method, the SGS Competence Center Rope Access is pleased to invite you to a free 60-minute webinar entitled ’Industrial Rope Access, the solution to efficiently access restricted areas’.

SGS offers the globally available and cost-free webinar on Industrial Rope Access in order to offer participants an insight into what Rope Access is used for. SGS will also provide information about Rope Access operations, benefits and safety aspects. As a member of IRATA (the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association), SGS will also talk about conducting Non-Destructive Testing with the help of Rope Access.

With a highly skilled team of experts, SGS Industrial Services supports clients in the inspection and testing of structures, carries out structural surveys and performs conventional and advanced Non-Destructive Testing. SGS technicians receive extensive training with independent assessment and are required to undergo retraining every three years. All SGS Rope Access training and operational work is conducted in line with international guidelines and standards.

The webinar, which is available everywhere around the globe - in Asia, Europe, the Americas and Africa - will detail the aspects of Industrial Rope Access in an hour-long session.

Four webinar sessions are scheduled, twice on each of two days:
