The new training program of SGS TÜV on Functional Safety is now available online. Anyone interested in this field will find numerous attractive training opportunities on current topics of Functional Safety in the most extensive and most in-depth training program available on the market.

The seminars address practically any possible target group - from decision makers who wish to gain a quick, condensed overview of Functional Safety requirements through to experts in the business who would like to obtain information on specific topics in special areas.

The scope of the contents covered by the portfolio of seminars and workshops is as varied as the interests of prospective attendees: Functional Safety in the Automotive industry (ISO 26262), for Automation, Software and Semiconductors (IEC 61508), in the field of Machine Safety (ISO 13848 / IEC 62061) and in the Process Industry (IEC 61511), for Agricultural Machines (ISO 25119) and for Household Appliances (various standards) – the demand for safety-relevant system developments is steadily growing in all industries and with it, the demand for well-trained specialists.

“We fully cover this demand through our training concept,” says Marcus Rau, who heads the team of trainers for Functional Safety at SGS TÜV. “Our modular training units with their level of depth are unique in the industry. We noted that companies and individual attendees want more than just superficial information. They want training with profound depth with instructors who have experience in the field. We address this need through our different training variants.” Another benefit for customers is that SGS TÜV GmbH is a member of the relevant standardization bodies and thus involved in the process of continuously developing the state of science and technology. Consequently, our trainers always convey the latest information and interpretations of standards available.

In addition, SGS TÜV offers a personal qualification program in which attendees can qualify as “Automotive Functional Safety Professionals (AFSP)“ or “Automotive Functional Safety Experts (AFSE)”. This program far exceeds the scope of normal training.

Special in-house training, customized seminars on location which Marcus Rau and his team of trainers tailor to suit the specific needs of their clients, and webinars at which attendees freely choose when and where to engage in their studies of Functional Safety complement the offering of SGS-TÜV GmbH.
