SGS India won a TPI Services contract from EIL for the Refinery Expansion project at Panipat
SGS India won a contract for Third Party Inspection (TPI) Services from Engineers India Limited (EIL) for the refinery expansion, Naphtha Cracker at Panipat. This is an important milestone for SGS India to enter the Oil & Gas business.
Engineers India Limited provides engineering and related technical services for petroleum refineries and other industrial projects. In addition to petroleum refineries, with which EIL started initially, it has diversified into and excelled in other fields such as pipelines, petrochemicals, oil and gas processing, offshore structures and platforms, fertilizers, metallurgy and power.
SGS India will perform Third Party Inspection for indigenous equipments and materials for the LLDPE/HDPE Unit of the Panimat Naphtha Cracker Project which is owned by the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL). The project duration will be 24 months.
