SGS acquires Auto Sécurité Group from MAAF Assurances SA. As a result of this acquisition, SGS is now the clear leader in Statutory Vehicle Inspection Business in France.
With revenues in 2004 in excess of € 10 mio, Auto Sécurité Group operates one of the largest networks in France with more than 850 franchised testing centers.
This acquisition, which takes place after Securitest in 2004, reinforces SGS’s position in the European statutory vehicle inspection market and serves as a platform for further development in this SGS strategic market.
