Join SGS and its art services experts at the Art Law Foundation’s “Art and Money Laundering: Responsible Art Market Practice Guidelines” conference in Geneva on January 26, 2017, which the company is sponsoring.

As part of a working group alongside the ALF and other members of The Responsible Art Market Initiative (RAM), SGS’s art services experts helped to create the Guidelines for the prevention of money laundering within the art market. Criminal activity of this kind has become more prevalent as the volume and value of art transactions has increased alongside the number of buyers, sellers and agents worldwide.

RAM – whose members include galleries, dealers, auction houses, advisors and service providers – officially launches the Guidelines at the event, which coincides with the artgenève art fair (January 26-29) at the city’s Palexpo exhibition center.
