ICEFAT

ICEFAT is an official, worldwide democratic organization representing 70 independent art transportation firms from 33 countries. The organization is dedicated to promoting the highest standards of professionalism in the field of museum and gallery shipping. They strive to foster effective communication and understanding between members and clients by providing an information network which allows for competitive alternatives in the area of art transportation.

ICEFAT has been organizing conferences for over 39 years and this event, at the President Wilson Hotel in Geneva, is expected to attract around 185 delegates from the world of art transportation.

SGS is the only art service provider to maintain a global presence, including a dedicated laboratory at Geneva’s Freeport. Our experts can help clients analyze and date works of art and gain in-depth knowledge of their materials, techniques and condition. SGS helps art experts authenticate artworks, uncover unknown masterpieces, and can provide inventories of art collections, as well as document and verify the condition of artworks before and after logistical operations.
