From October 20-21st in Paris, participants will have an opportunity to network and exchange different perspectives on sustainable solutions. This event is organized by Organic Monitor, a specialist research, consulting & training company aimed at understanding global organic and related product industries.

The aim of the summit is to reflect and deliberate on key issues of sustainability in the industry with major stakeholders and find practical solutions. Representatives from chemical, raw material and ingredient companies, retailers and distributors, packing companies, certification and inspections agencies, academics, researchers and consultants, as well as other stakeholders will be in attendance.

Xavier Vital will lead the second of two interactive workshops. The first workshop will focus on advances in green surfactants & emulsifiers. The second workshop will give practical approaches for reducing the environmental impact of home care products.

Reducing the Environmental Impact of Home Care Products

SGS Global Environmental Services Manager & Innovation and Product Development Manager, Xavier Vital will lead a workshop for ingredients companies, and home and personal care companies with the intention of helping them better understand their environmental impacts and related reduction.

A general introduction on environmental impacts resulting from sourcing of raw materials, production, distribution & logistics, and consumption up to post-use will be given. Our expert will use case studies, and give guidance and practical advice to help companies reduce their environmental footprints.

A few questions that our expert will address are:
