IFS Awareness Training - International Food Standard

This training has been designed to introduce the requirements of the IFS International Food Standard, Version 5. This standard aims to provide a uniform audit procedure for all companies supplying retailer branded food products. The training provides you with an overview of the common audit framework that ensures comparability and transparency throughout the entire supply chain. An organization that invests in a uniform audit procedure with IFS accredited certification reduces both costs and time for suppliers and retailers.

The training is an introduction for anyone involved in the development, implementation and management of the International Food Standard. If you plan to complete other International Food Standard training, such as internal auditing and the Internal Auditor Training, you will receive during this course the knowledge and understanding upon which to build auditing skills.

The training comprises lecture and workshop exercises.
