BRC Packaging and Packaging Materials Awareness Training

This training has been designed to help you understand the certification process based on the BRC Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials Issue 3. The training will give you a foundation on the certification process and provides background on the Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials and how it can improve your business methods.

The training is an introduction for anyone involved in development, implementation and management of certification for the BRC Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials Issue 3. We provide a background for those new to the certification process. This training also gives you the foundation for the two day ‘How to implement’ the Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials Issue 3.

Upon completing the training, the delegates will be able to understand:

• The general principles of the requirements of the Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials Issue 3
• The concepts of what is needed to develop and implement a practical documented system to comply with the Standard’s requirements
• How certificated audits against the Standard operate and what is involved in an audit
• The principles of third party certification

The training comprises lecture and workshop exercises.
