ISO 22000 - Awareness Training - Food Safety Management Systems

This training will provide you with an overview of the purpose and requirements of ISO 22000 for food safety management systems. This includes how to manage effective interactive communication, operate a structured management system and integrate the principles of the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) system.

The training provides you with an overview of the purpose and requirements of ISO 22000 and how it can improve your business methods. By the completion of the course you will be able to describe the purpose of a Food Safety Management System (FSMS). You will also be able to explain the purpose, requirements and reasoning for ISO 22000:2005 and how it aids the continual improvement of the FSMS.

The training is an introduction for anyone involved in the development, implementation and management of a FSMS based on ISO 22000. If you plan to complete other FSMS training, such as internal auditing and the Lead Auditor Training, you will receive during this training the knowledge and understanding of ISO 22000 upon which to build auditing skills.
