Equator Principles - Awareness Training

This training has been designed to introduce the guidelines that address the environmental and social issues associated with major development projects worldwide. These guidelines provide a common baseline and framework for the implementation of internal environmental and social procedures and the standards for project financing activities across all industries.

The basic awareness training will cover:

• Identify priority business teams within banks targeting involvement of: Top Management; Heads of Credit; Heads of Project Finance; and appropriate environmental and social staff
• Customize modular material to region and relevant sectors
• In-house workshops for project finance, credit, environmental and social staff
• Provision of generic tools for internal customization
• Development of reporting tools and implementation monitoring
• Performance evaluation

The training is an introduction for anyone involved in the development, implementation and management of Equator Principles.

The training comprises lecture and workshop exercises.
