BS 8901 Implementation Course - Sustainable Event Management

This training aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively implement a Sustainable Events Management System (SEMS) in accordance with BS 8901. The BS 8901:2009 standard defines the specification for a sustainability management system for event management certification.

On training completion you will be able to:

  • Recognize how an SEMS is implemented and improved
  • Identify key sustainability issues at different event management cycle stages
  • Know how to engage all relevant stakeholders
  • Define a supply chain assessment and control methodology

This two-day training is based on case study materials and practical exercises.
Please note: You should already possess basic awareness of BS 8901 and an understanding of the sustainability issues.
