SGS is pleased to announce the acquisition of Gladstone Testing, a well established construction material testing business based in Gladstone, Queensland.

Gladstone Testing offers a range of services focused on road construction and the commercial and residential building sectors and will allow SGS to target growth opportunities in the Gladstone region for the LNG and coal industries.

Privately owned, it employs 14 staff and is expected to generate 2012 revenues in excess of AUD 1.4 million.
