SGS is pleased to announce the acquisition of Roplex Engineering Ltd. Roplex specializes in engineering support and test services for vapor recovery systems. It operates mainly in oil distribution terminals across the UK, supporting Vapor Recovery Units (VRU) which are designed to reduce the vapour emissions from fuels.

Founded in 1990 and privately owned, Roplex employs 8 engineers and generated 2011 revenues in excess of £1.6 million.
