SGS invites you to register for the complimentary webinar "Biofuel - Chain of Custody in Supply Chains" on February 19, 2013.
The objective of this complimentary webinar (45-minute presentation / 15-minute Q&A) is to give an overview to the Biofuels production and supply chain (agricultural producers, traders, bioethanol/biodiesel producers, Oil and Gas companies), Food and Pharmaceutical sectors, about the requirements of sustainably produced feedstocks, and how this fits in with the Chain of Custody within supply chains.
In response to the ever-increasing global call for sustainability, a number of Roundtables were formed including Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) and Responsible Soy (RTRS), with the objective of promoting the growth and use of sustainably produced crops.
The feedstocks can be used as a biofuel and also sustainably produced oils to use in everyday food products such as beverages, food, cookies and ice cream as well as in personal care, cosmetics and cleaning items.
