There are real differences but also similarities between regulatory systems that are in force worldwide regarding the safety of Juvenile products (infant walkers, baby cribs…). Products targeting children and babies are especially sensitive. It is essential that you know and understand the mandatory legal requirements applicable to your products and how they vary between the markets where you will place them.

Presenter

Mrs. Catherine Follin-Arbelet, SGS Senior Expert, Juvenile Products.

Catherine has years of experience in juvenile products. She developed juvenile products testing services in a private French laboratory, starting 20 years ago when the first regulation on these products was published in France. She joined SGS in 2010 as global technical expert for juvenile products and is working to align testing methods and standards interpretations across the SGS network as well as to develop testing capabilities worldwide to meet clients’ needs.
