SGS invites you to attend the webinar "Round Table of Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) – Requirements & Benefits" on 17 July 2012.
The objective of this 45-minute complimentary webinar is to give an initial overview and taster to the Biofuels production and supply chain (agricultural producers, traders, bioethanol/biodiesel producers, Oil and Gas companies), Food and Pharmaceutical sectors, about the requirements of the RSPO scheme (Round Table for Sustainable Palm Oil).
In response to the ever-increasing global call for sustainability, the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) was formed in 2004 with the objective of promoting the growth and use of sustainable oil palm products.
Palm oil can be used as a biofuel and sustainably produced Palm oil is also used in everyday food products such as beverages, food, cookies and ice cream as well as in personal care, cosmetics and cleaning items.
Quality, Environmental, purchasers, traders, and managers of Biofuel, Food or Pharaceutical supply chains who need to gain an understanding of the options, or would like to implement a management system to meet the RSPO requirements and or have an interest in the assessment/sustainability certification process.
Ms. Natalie Evans – SGS Global Program Manager, Alternative Fuels
Natalie has a Project management background in Alternative Fuels verification/certification system solutions and an RTRS auditor. She is leading the mapping of Voluntary schemes and development of operational systems and processes within SGS to ensure solutions are offered to existing and potential client bases consistently via our network of global offices.
