SGS invites you to attend the webinar entitled "New ISO 20121 Standard as it is Launched". The objective of this 45-minute complimentary webinar is to provide an update on the ISO 20121 standard for sustainable event management as it is launched. The pre-cursor, BS 8901 has been in existence for a couple of years and has attracted great interest.
The advent of ISO 20121 will provide a guide to support organizations to minimize their impact – and can be used by any organization – from large stadia, sports events organizers, conference organizers in business, higher education or third sector – any organization that hosts events.
This event is aimed at anyone who works in the events management field (e.g. suppliers, venues, event organizers, caterers, etc.) and wants their organization to stand out as making positive progress on becoming much more sustainable.
Dr. Colin Morgan, SGS Global Program Manager – Social Responsibility
Dr. Morgan holds a doctorate in social responsibility and is responsible for the proposed ISO 20121 service for SGS clients. Dr. Morgan also facilitates the development of the SGS Performance Assessment approach to ISO 26000 and works with organizations to explore and develop their ISO 26000 based strategies. He also oversees the SGS Sustainability Reporting Assurance services and a wide-range of social accountability supply chain programs.
