Metering Uncertainty Studies

SGS believes that in the design of all measure system categories it is essential that the dynamic system measurement uncertainty values are calculated for a given process condition.

These metering uncertainty studies ensure and optimize the operation of any metering system. SGS personnel regularly undertake uncertainty studies on all types of meter and measurement systems for liquids and gaseous measurement applications. SGS design and construction verification of metering systems includes verification of meter metrology, pipe-work design and layout, selection and installation of secondary instrumentation, flow computer design, configuration and calculation.
