BS 25999 - Lead Auditor Training - Business Continuity Management

This training provides business continuity professionals with the necessary skills to perform first, second and third-party audits for Business Continuity Management Systems (BCMS) to the requirements of BS 25999-2:2007.

On training completion you will be able to:

• Describe the purpose of a BCMS including the principles, processes and techniques used for the management and assessment of a BCM system
• Explain the purpose, content and interrelationship of BS 25999-2:2007 Part two and BS 25999-1:2006 Part One, Code of Practice
• Explain the role of a BCMS auditor to plan, conduct, report and follow up an BCMS audit in accordance with ISO 19011
• Possess in-depth knowledge of the BS 25999 audit and certification process
• Have the skills and knowledge needed to plan, conduct, report and follow-up third party audits against the requirements of BS 25999-2:2007 Part 2 in accordance with ISO 19011 by interpreting BS 25999-2:2007 Part Two
• Interpret the requirements of BS 25999-2:2007 Part Two in the context of a BCMS audit

This training is designed for those who have a general background in Business Continuity Management and have a basic knowledge of the requirements of the BS 25999 Standards.
