As a supplier to the railway industry, demonstrating that you have the processes, competences, resources, and procedures that comply with quality and regulatory requirements is vital. That is why a cross-industry working group in the UK has developed the Rail Industry Supplier Accreditation Scheme (RISAS). It provides a single, third-party assessment that identifies RISAS approved suppliers for defined product groups. As a Railway Industry Supplier Body (RISAB), our RISAS services provide you with independent assessment of your organization.

In 2011, we acquired Correl Rail, a leading provider of services for the rail industry and the only fully independent UK-based notified body. As a result, we can now serve the entire rail industry. We are also at the heart of European rolling stock certification practice development through our involvement on both national committees and our role as technical secretariat of the Notified Body Rail Sub-Group for Rolling Stock.
As one of the first companies in the UK to be accredited as RISAB under RISAS, we are able to carry out the appraisal of supply companies and issue certificates of approval under the scheme.
