With the globalization of food production and procurement, food chains are becoming longer and more complex and subsequently we find an increased risk of food safety incidents. This training is relevant if you are involved in FSM of food manufacturers that process or manufacture animal products, perishable vegetal products, products with a long shelf life and (other) food ingredients like additives, vitamins and bio-cultures.
The training provides you with an overview of the purpose and requirements of FSSC 22000 and ISO/TS 22002-1, and how applying these can improve your business methods. By the completion of the training you will be able to describe the purpose of a Food Safety Management System (FSMS). You will also be able to explain the purpose, requirements and the certification process and how it aids the continual improvement of the FSMS.
The training comprises lecture and workshop exercises.

The training course objectives are to provide delegates with a comprehensive understanding of the principle of FSSC. The course gives a clear overview of the requirements of FSSC with examples of how the guideline may be applied in Food industry and Food Chain Industry. The course provides the balance between theory and interactive workshops, which develop the necessary knowledge and skills to conduct the implementation of the FSSC guideline.
An understanding and working experience in food manufacturing or food supply chain and processing environment would be an advantage.
